Welcome to Hares class

In Hares Class, we support children as they transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2, helping them develop greater responsibility and independence in their learning.

Throughout the school year, we will explore a range of exciting historical topics including the Stone Age, Romans and Ancient Egypt. Our geography curriculum will take us on journeys to discover volcanoes, settlements and the fascinating landscapes of Antarctica.

All of our topics are carefully planned to deliver the full breadth of the National Curriculum in a way that is engaging, meaningful and memorable for every child. We are also guided by the principles of the FISH! Philosophy, creating a positive, respectful and enjoyable learning environment where we aim to make each other’s day and inspire a love of learning.
