Tendring Primary school is fortunate enough to be set in the glorious Essex countryside. In recent years, we have expanded to a one form entry school but have maintained our close-knit school with a big heart, and we are proud of the caring, inclusive environment we have built together. At Tendring, we believe that education is not just about academic success – it’s about developing the whole child. We place a strong focus on developing our young people to be passionate, considerate and capable future members of society and we work together to help every pupil grow in confidence and character.

Our dedicated staff are passionate about inspiring a love of learning taking full advantage of our incredible outdoor learning space. We strive to create engaging, purposeful lessons that stretch and support every child, and we celebrate effort just as much as achievement. Whether it’s in the classroom, on the sports field, or through creative and outdoor experiences, we aim to spark curiosity and help children discover their strengths.

As headteacher, I am proud to lead a school community where relationships matter. We value open, honest communication and strong partnerships with parents and carers. When we all work together, amazing things happen – and that’s exactly what we see every day at Tendring.
